Fee disclosure
Social Security disability representation fees are governed by federal law under 42 U.S.C. § 406 and SSA regulations. The fee is a contingency: 25% of past-due benefits (back pay) or $9,200, whichever is less. The fee is paid only if we win, and only out of back pay. No fee unless we win. Federal court representation operates under a separate fee structure (42 U.S.C. § 406(b)).
