Toward the end of an extensive business career, which included experience serving as a General Manager and executive of a company worth approximately $80 million, client L.B. was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2013. Though he continued working after his diagnosis, by 2015 L.B.’s condition, which causes him to have severe tremors, reduced cognitive functioning, and extreme fatigue, had deteriorated significantly to the point where he was no longer able to work, a limitation that caused him significant psychological stress, which ultimately required mental health treatment.
Despite the strong medical evidence in support of his claim for disability benefits, L.B.’s initial application for Social Security disability benefits was denied, which prompted him to contact Viner Disability Law in April 2016. After filing a request for hearing a few weeks later, Viner Disability Law’s staff was able to work with the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) National Adjudication team to have the case pulled for expedited adjudication, which resulted in a fully favorable decision for L.B., who is now currently receiving Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits.
Whether you have been denied disability benefits at any stage of the SSA’s process or you have yet even to file an initial application, please contact our office to learn more about how our disability attorneys may be able to help you win your claim for Social security disability benefits.
